Winter weather is around the corner! Be sure to use your anti-lock braking system properly in adverse conditions. Here are 7 quick tips to remember when braking in snow:

  1.  Push firmly on the pedal without stopping to stop the car in time
  2. Pulsating is normal with ABS and Anti-lock brakes
  3. Drive smoothly, jerky movements will cause tires to lose traction
  4. Come to a gradual stop
  5. Don’t SLAM on your brakes
  6.  Slow Down
  7. Don’t tailgate – leave plenty of room between you and the next vehicle
